Upgrade your stock Tie Rod with Trail-Gear’s Heavy Duty Tie Rod Kit. The kit includes TG’s Heavy Duty FJ80 Tie Rod Ends and Tie Rod tubing made from 1.25" x .250" wall DOM. The rod ends are greased for life, sealed, and include the cotter pin and jam nut. Tie Rod is precision tapped with left-hand threads marked. Each rod is test fitted to ensure rod ends thread in with correct fit. Fits 1990-1997 Toyota Land Cruisers.

After years of development and testing, these knuckles and steering arms have set a new standard in Toyota knuckle strength and reliability. The Fully Loaded Six Shooter Kit totally eliminates the problem of broken steering knuckles and studs. The addition of two studs in each arm effectively prevents the steering arm from becoming loose or shearing off the studs under extreme loads. The knuckle housing was designed with thicker than stock material and larger gussets have been added around the outside of the knuckle for extra strength. Precision CNC machined, each set of knuckles and steering arms are inspected and tested for the highest quality of products that Trail-Gear can deliver. Included in The Fully Loaded Six Shooter Kit is a special 6 hole shim pack for use between the top of the knuckle and the steering arm. Also included is a 1/2" coarse thread bolt to help remove the steering arms for knuckle service. To remove the steering arms, remove all 6 nuts, then install the bolt in the top of the arm. As the bolt is tightened, the steering arm is pulled up off the knuckle. Stock lower bearing plates and shims from your old knuckles are needed for knuckle assembly. A minimum of four additional steering arm studs are needed for installation. Our front 3”, 4”, and 5” springs are now available in a heavy-duty version with a 25% higher spring rate. The HD leaf springs are great for heavier trucks and 4Runners with full bodies and exo-cages, V6 Toyota and Tacoma applications, and also works great for V6 and V8 engine swaps. The length is the same as our super flex spring, but with a higher spring rate the spring will hold its arch and lift longer.

Note: These springs are not a direct OEM replacement, installation requires the relocation of some mounting brackets.

Due to customer demand, Trail-Gear has designed their signature Trail-Link Three™ Front 3-Link Kit to be used with High Steer. Trail-Gear’s Trail-Link Three™ Front 3-Link Kits are the only complete kits for Toyotas on the market today. This kit is affordable, user friendly, and strong. The Panhard is 1.25” x .250” wall DOM material, the other link material is 2" x .250" wall DOM tubing, and the rod ends are 1.25" Creeper Joints™. The Panhard bracket on the axle is 3/16”, all other brackets are 1/4” steel, formed and welded. The TG Engineers have designed kits to work with OEM or Rock Assault™ axle housings. With 14” shocks we are getting 40” to 50” of articulation depending on the suspension in the rear of the truck and the steering system. Purchase this kit with 14” shocks here.

This kit has been extensively tested and has proven itself to be another superior Trail-Gear suspension product. Kit includes everything you need, except shocks and upper shock mounts. You determine the upper shock mounting location based on the desired ride height and the needs of your vehicle.
